BeatDrop is an international music and dance initiative founded by four students through their passion and love for music.
That’s why we have set ourselves the goal of sharing this passion with as many people as possible, whether you are a German or international student, everyone can join in!
It doesn’t matter what kind of music you like. Whether it’s rock, pop, hip-hop, K-pop, J-pop, C-pop, metal, rap, classical or something completely different, everyone is welcome to share their favorite genre of music with us and introduce it to us.
We will also give you the opportunity to free your mind by dancing!
Every Wednesday there will be a dance-get-together in one of the rooms of the HdM, where we can do choreographies to songs of your choice or random play-dances or dance covers. We are always open to new suggestions.
If you’re like us and can’t stand a day without music or even dancing in front of the mirror, you’ve come to the right place.
The main focus of BeatDRop is currently on the dance part, as not enough students have signed up for the music part, but if you are still interested, please contact us directly!
At our talk-get-together we discuss different music tastes and play games about music or a specific music genre.
This can be something like karaoke, just dance, music discussions, dance challenges and workouts (yes, we can even do that via Discord), guess the song, Kpop mini-games and more.

WHERE AND WHEN
From April 10, 2024 every Wednesday from 7-9 pm in the band rehearsal room (BGM, in the basement).
