Hetero? Das ist doch nur eine Phase!

Since the winter semester 2014 there is the Rainbow Café at the HdM!

What?
We offer a meeting place for queer/LGBT students, help with coming out, a safe space to share and have fun!

When? Wo?
We plan common experiences in our WhatsApp group (contact persons in charge). We meet about once a month for various activities. The exact dates will be published soon!

QUEER? LGBT?
Queer [‘kwɪə(ɹ)] was originally a negative term for people who deviate from the norm and was used in a derogatory way against homosexuals in particular. However, we have since reclaimed the term as a neutral umbrella term for all members of the LGBT community. 🙂
LGBT as well as any modified form of the term (in Germany often LSBTI), stands as an acronym for the community of homosexuals (gays and lesbians), bisexuals, transgenders, pansexuals, asexuals, nonbinaries, intersexuals and many more!

If you want to join in, check out our pages and get in touch – everyone is welcome!
