The nomination period for this year’s VS elections has begun!
You’ve decided to run as a candidate in the VS elections, but you’re not sure what you need to do?
No worries, we’ll walk you through it step by step.
First, you need to decide which body you’d like to run for. Are you interested in the Faculty Council, the VS Council, or the Senate? Or maybe all of them at once? The choice is yours.
Once you’ve made your decision, come visit us at the VS office (room m001) in the Modulbau. We’re happy to help you there.
We’ll do our best to have the VS office staffed during lecture hours throughout the nomination period. If no one is there when you stop by, please check the opening hours posted on the door or try again during the lunch break from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM.
Make sure to bring your HdM student ID!
Are you currently on an internship semester and/or abroad and unable to come by in person to submit your nomination?
No problem. You can authorize Gaby Stober (stober@hdm-stuttgart.de), a staff member, via a written authorization to register your candidacy on your behalf. It’s important that this authorization is sent from your HdM email account, otherwise it will not be valid.

The nomination period runs until May 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot consider students who apply after this deadline.
So make sure to come by in time, and in good numbers. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
