Would you like to get involved in environmental protection and sustainability this semester and are interested in events and projects such as clothes swaps, picnics, urban gardening, social media work, etc., or would you simply like to connect more with other students who have similar interests?

Then come along to the Uschi-Kickoff on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 1:30 pm in room m003, where you will find all the important information about the initiative and planned projects.

This semester, for example, it will be about organising a swap party for clothes, plants and books, planting new garden beds at the HdM or coming up with sustainable surprises for the Advent season. No prior knowledge is necessary 😉

The kick-off date for our first book club meeting in the summer semester of 2024 is set: Join us on March 28th at 1:30 PM in room m030 and bring your suggestions for a book that we will read and discuss together.

"Buchgefühle" is the VS initiative where everything revolves around books and, most importantly, your thoughts on them: Together, we'll vote for a book, and at our regular meetings, we can casually discuss it and exchange our book feelings in a relaxed atmosphere. We are the initiative melanin. which creates a safe(r) space for black students at HdM. At regular get-togethers we want to get to know each other, exchange ideas, empower each other and have a good time together.

Starting this Thursday, October 19, BvK will once again be held every Thursday from 7.30pm to midnight in room m003. If you would like to check out any of our games, you are also welcome to stop by the VS office. You have to sign up on the borrowing list, which is located at the board games in the VS office.

SketchJam is the initiative for all drawing enthusiasts who want to pursue their hobby and are looking for like-minded people, no matter whether you have to design a character for a submission or just want to sketch in a relaxed atmosphere.

Every week we will draw together IRL or in Discord in a relaxed atmosphere or play games like Monday Painter, Gartic Phone or whatever else we feel like doing.

Every drawing style is welcome, no matter if you are a beginner or advanced - come along!

Our online kick-off will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 on Discord from 7:30 pm.

And our offline kick-off will take place on Tuesday, April 02, 2024 in room S105 from 7:30 pm.

Do you want to express yourself creatively, write texts, design or get involved in social media? Then you've come to the right place!

We are the university magazine VielSeitig. We produce our print magazine once a semester and a regular online blog, completely self-made. Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of their degree course or semester, even without any previous knowledge. You can work in various departments from editing and proofreading to layout and PR team and will be supported by us.

If you are interested, please come to one of our kick-offs. Either on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 during the lunch break at 1:30 pm in room 128 on the 1st floor of the main building. Or on Thursday, November 16, 2023 in the evening at 8:00 pm via Zoom.
